Check and maintain

Before sharing the site, read it as a visitor would. Check that the main research story is clear and that visitors can find the information they need.

1. Accessibility and colour choices — check readable contrast, heading order, alternative text, keyboard access, and screen-reader usability.
2. Preview and troubleshoot — inspect the built site, test links, and investigate publishing or formatting problems.
3. Keep your site current — review content and maintain the site as your project develops.

Automated checks can help identify problems, but reading and testing the pages is still necessary. This theme does not run an automatic accessibility audit during the build.
